Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for floral design and interior decorating, and most of all, entertaining friends and family with elaborate parties and theme dinners.
For the past 14 years, I have channeled this passion into my Los Angeles wedding planning company, A Royal Affair, and we are totally committed to providing our clients with the most beautiful wedding locations; gourmet 5-Star catering that will open your pallet to an unforgettable fine dining experience for you and your guests; floral arrangements exquisitely designed to your preferences; wedding theme décor to match your vision; and a variety of entertainment choices.
After graduating from UCLA’s Production for TV and Film course, I began working as a Production Designer, Location Manager and Line Producer on various films and T.V. shows. I also studied floral design with top floral designers in Los Angeles that I met while working on films and T.V. Working on films here in the U.S. and abroad, expanded my knowledge and appreciation for different cultures and their uniqueness.
It also taught me how to incorporate different cultural themes into my wedding planning.
It all began in 1994, when one of my girlfriends asked me to help her plan her wedding.
The wedding was a huge success and several of her guests asked me to help them with their upcoming weddings and events. It was then that I realized that wedding planning was my true calling. I contacted photographers, videographers, and caterers that I had met on my films and T.V. shows, contracted them to join my new venture, and started A Royal Affair in 1995.
Since then, I have planned over 100 weddings, ranging from 50 to 800 guests, covering a variety of budgets and themes. I have also planned events for The Los Angeles Opera, the New West Symphony of Ventura County, CA, Senator Tom McClintock of California, and at the mansion of David Murdock, CEO of Dole Industries. I have appeared in Star Magazine discussing the planned wedding of Drew Barrymore, and on the Celebrity Justice TV show discussing Jennifer Lopez’s wedding.
